Can you provide some more insight into your dilemma?
Try some of these basic things:
a) Full power off and restart, including removal of cords from the Playstation 3
b) Restore factory default settings
c) Provide some more information to us about the problem?
Experiencing image issues like everyone else though :P
That being said, Sony scheduled it would be down for another hour and a bit from now, and images ARE starting to pop up, guess they're still updating?

A list of jokes about an unfunny issue and they aren't very funny....
Late last year one of my friends got RRoD a few hours after it being out of the box. All of his friends, me included, put money in to get him one. This was for his birthday, so it was pretty sad :< and it took him 2 weeks to get another one. We also got one for another friend which had some random error which ruined his party x_x (because we were going to do some 8-player Halo 3 system link action). He went through support and fixed it though

My point was that Gears of Wars is a great game and that the PS3 has great games, nothing about giving up the PS3 whatsoever.

First off, Juevani, Gears most certainly doesn't look like crap.
And... Oh... Judging by your name this won't have much effect. But anyway, how you can even claim MGS4 looks blurred is beyond me. It's a 3D image, rendered by a 3D camera which holds perfect clarity. Honestly, are you watching upscaled versions of trailers on YouTube or something?

No good games? Gears of War 2 is looking nice, as did Gears 1. That doesn't mean that Sony's going to eat their heads in fear of 'teh awsUmnes'. PS3 has plenty of great games coming out this year, next year also, and there's still enough ...

An equally valid claim is that they're busy deciding what content they have to cut off the 360 versions so it'll fit on a DVD disc.
Now we get to pay for a peripheral that only works for Arcade games.... Yay? :/

But I don't think it'll come out. And even if it did, how would something innovative come from it? Maybe something prettier than the Wii, but the innovation department would be lacking. Plus I don't think the audience would be there to support such a peripheral. I mean, why buy a 360 which has 2 motion control games when the Wii has plenty more at a cheaper price?
I doubt that. Also, think of the cost of buying it. You'll need to motion sensing stick plus the infra-red detector. Another add-on you'll need to buy. I can see them making casual games... Maybe. I don't think it'll happen, just not enough audience for them, it's been taken by the Wii
I can't find any, even on PixelJunk Monsters which is what it was shown on. Can anybody name some of them so I can visit them, or perhaps it's because I'm in the Australian Store, if it is, that's gay :<
I also think they should add a search feature sometime in the future
